Preventive & Longevity Medicine

Medicine built around one person at a time.

I’m Dr. Travis Hudon, DO, MS — a board-certified physician with comprehensive training in adult medicine, focused on preventive care, cardiometabolic risk reduction, and men’s hormonal health.

Philosophy

An approach built on evidence, not urgency.

Prevention first

Most serious disease is visible years before it announces itself. I build care around catching that signal early — cardiovascular, metabolic, hormonal — not waiting for a crisis to react to.

The whole person

Labs and imaging matter, but so do sleep, training load, stress, and recovery. I treat those as clinical data, not lifestyle footnotes.

Plain language

I explain the reasoning behind every recommendation in terms that hold up to scrutiny — no jargon standing in for an actual answer.

Background

Where the approach comes from.

My training covers the full scope of adult medicine, and I bring an unusual combination of backgrounds to how I practice — military discipline, a science of human performance, and a clinical focus on catching problems early. Preventive and longevity work is where I spend a lot of my attention, but it sits on top of that full adult-care foundation, not instead of it.

Clinical training

Comprehensive training across the full spectrum of adult primary care — not pediatrics — board-certified (DO, Family Medicine), with a certification in men’s health and advanced training in testosterone replacement therapy.

Naval service

Before medicine, I served as a Naval officer — a background that shaped how I think about discipline, readiness, and performance under load.

Exercise science

A master’s degree in exercise science and physiology from Central Washington University underlies how I think about metabolic health, training, and recovery as clinical tools, not extras.

Focus Areas

What I spend my clinical attention on.

Cardiometabolic risk reduction

Identifying and addressing the drivers of heart attack and stroke long before conventional screening would flag them.

Men’s hormonal health

Testosterone and broader hormonal optimization grounded in careful diagnostics — not a template protocol.

Longevity optimization

Translating current longevity research into a practical, individualized plan — not a supplement list.

Performance medicine

For people who train seriously: care that accounts for training load, recovery, and real-world performance goals.
